This website is an advertisement and is for information purposes only. Users of this website are requested to read the following information carefully and take it into account.
Restrictions
The products, services or information described on this website are intended for private, professional and institutional investors in Switzerland. In addition, the products, services or information may also be intended for private individuals and/or persons outside Switzerland, insofar as this is permitted under the applicable provisions of the country selected by the user of this website. The provisions of a country may be applicable on the basis of citizenship, domicile or for other reasons.

Persons who are subject to such prohibitions are not permitted to access this website. This website is not directed to any person who is prohibited from accessing it due to restrictions applicable in their jurisdiction. Please contact a competent advisor for further details.
No offer
The information and opinions published on this website do not constitute a solicitation or offer to buy or sell securities or other investment products, nor do they constitute a solicitation or offer to engage in any other transactions. They are for information purposes only. The information and opinions provided on this website are not to be understood as recommendations or decision-making aids for the investor's investment and other decisions and are in no way of an advisory nature. Investors are urged to seek advice from their client advisor, to make their own enquiries or to obtain further information before making an investment decision. If a person invests in an investment product without direct contact solely on the basis of the information on this website, there is no additional duty to provide advice and the duty to provide advice is therefore deemed to have been fulfilled.
Risks
Users of this website are requested to inform themselves about the risks involved in securities trading. We strongly recommend that you read the Swiss Bankers Association's risk information brochure "Special Risks in Securities Trading", which contains information on the risks involved in securities trading. We draw the investor's attention to the fact that past performance is no guarantee of future success. The value of an investment can rise or fall at any time. It may not be possible to liquidate a position in time before a loss is incurred. Due to the possible fluctuations in value to which the invested capital may be subject, it is possible that the investor may not get back the capital initially invested. If investments are made in foreign currencies, they are also subject to currency fluctuations. In any case, you should not enter into any securities transactions without being fully aware of the associated risks and having gained an understanding of the financial viability of substantial losses. In particular, we recommend that you do not make any investments without professional advice.
Remuneration policy
The GFO has issued internal regulations for the remuneration of its employees and governing bodies. The purpose of these regulations is to ensure that the GFO complies at all times with all legal and regulatory requirements, internal guidelines and market standards as well as rules of conduct with regard to remuneration. The rules have the following objectives in particular:
- Protecting the interests of customers, investors and shareholders;
- Promoting and protecting the reputation and sustainable and long-term development of the company;
- Preventing breaches of regulations that could lead to legal and regulatory sanctions, financial loss or reputational damage; and
- Prevent inappropriate risks from being taken in order to achieve short-term success.
Sustainability
Certain GFO investment strategies selectively integrate sustainability criteria in the selection of positions. Sustainability means striving for economic success and long-term value creation while at the same time taking non-financial factors into account. At the discretion of the GFO, topics such as corporate strategy, corporate governance, transparency and a company's product and service offering can be taken into account for the assessment. The primary aim of the assessment is to measure a company's resilience to long-term, industry-relevant environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks. The GFO may rely on data from third-party providers. The GFO does not evaluate any adverse effects of investment decisions on sustainability factors. Such specific effects cannot currently be measured for the investment strategies used.
Taxes
GFO's services do not include advice on the client's tax situation or legal advice. The client's tax situation in his country of domicile is not the responsibility of the GFO, but that of the client. GFO recommends that the client obtain appropriate advisory services from a local tax specialist or legal advisor. The client is responsible for ensuring that the assets currently and in the future held at the bank and the income, capital gains and the like generated with them are properly declared to the competent tax authorities and will continue to be properly declared in the future. The client is responsible for all tax liabilities in connection with the assets managed by the asset manager.

GFO takes the necessary technical and organizational precautions in the design and operation of its websites to ensure their operation. Nevertheless, errors such as loss or falsification of data, virus attacks, operational interruptions, etc. cannot be ruled out.
